Fire Used To Kill Homeless Man





During the winter months, fire is used to warm people up, not to kill homeless people. But in the Bronx, a man who was homeless and sleeping in front of a church was set on fire. He died a week later.

Teenagers was my first thought when I saw the story. But although people saw teenagers running from the incident, it was a 27 year old man who was the culprit. They said the teenagers were running because they didn’t want to be accused.

Hurting or killing people when they are literally down on their luck, is inhumane. It is just not something that should happen in our supposedly civilized and advanced society. Of course, allowing citizens to be forced to live on our streets is neither civilized nor advanced.
